In these uncertain times, we wanted to reach out to you personally about what we are doing here at SmartGiving to support you and your charitable giving. As the situation around coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, we are doing everything we can to ensure that your donations to charities arrive in a timely manner.
Rest assured that we have a contingency plan in place, if government advice dictates this – staff will be working from home and phones will be diverted. We are still receiving emails and will respond accordingly.
The end of the tax year is approaching so remember to top up your charity account by 5 April 2020, especially as we recognise that many charities will be impacted by the current situation – your donations will be so much more valued at this time by the charities in the UK and worldwide.
To avoid any delays due to the postal service, we recommend topping up or donating via your account online. If you don’t have an online account, please contact the Paula or Jeremy for instructions on setting this up.
We hope you and your family are able to stay safe over the next few weeks in spite of this new situation we are all having to adapt to.
